We are still booking performances of our VERY popular Shipman’s Tale, entitled: A Pleasure Doing Business. For public performance events we are partnering with other non-profits to do performance/networking fundraisers. Bookings for retirement communities and schools are still available, as well as for corporate events.

Shipman’s Tale tour now booking!

Chaucer’s Shipman’s Tale is a classical comedy with music and song in which a merry-go-round of favors between a wealthy merchant, his wife and his friend the monk, leave most of the players somewhat deceived but all deliciously satisfied.

The Shipman’s Tale runs about an hour long and is an excellent choice for San Francisco Bay Area retirement communities, high schools, colleges, and private events.

A national and international tour version of this tale paired with Uncommon Sense (tale of Melibee) with full design and technical components will be availabe for performances August 2008 - May 2009. To book contact us at 415-491-0818 or info@chaucertheatre.org

Developments in Canterbury, England

We are working with a group in Canterbury, England, www.canterburypilgrim.com, to establish a long-term relationship involving exhibitions of medieval artifacts and Chaucer folios, tourism and performance.
